The key to lowering IT-deployment cost lies in using IT products that are easy to install and implement. This is why our developers have thoroughly simplified the installation of the Heartsome Translation Suite (HSTS), and designed an user interface that uses human-friendly language. It is so simple to use that many find it hard to believe that behind the simplicity lies a piece of state-of-the-art software, a new generation translation technology designed to excel in the open-ended arena of XML implementation.
What do users need...
A computer with good speed and storage capacity to install the HSTS. We recommend a minimum of 512MB RAM, 2.x GHz processor speed and 40GB of hard disk space.
If users plan to share the use of the HSTS with others in the organisation, the computer must be connected to the in-house LAN.
If users plan to allow access to the HSTS translation memory database via Internet or Extranet or Intranet, the computer must be connected to the Internet.
Ensure that the computer is running on one of these operating systems: Windows 2000/XP, Mac OS 10.3 or higher, or Linux GTK 2.
Ensure that the computer is equipped with one of these relational databases: Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, MySQL 3.x or 4.x, PostgreSQL, HSQL or CloudScape.
Ensure that the computer is equipped with Java Runtime 1.5.x or higher. Instructions on how to set up Java Runtime are available at www.java.com
and Heartsome's Tutorial on Installing Java.
One licence for Heartsome Translation Suite. If deployment off-site is required, users may opt to purchase more Heartsome Translation Suite licences according to the number of networked users or corresponding number of licences for personal editions of selected Heartsome editors for off-line users.
